The House is currently CLOSED for tours.
Guided tours of the house run from Memorial Day through October, and are held on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays by appointment. Visit our TOURS page for more information.
Our free self-guided “Outside-the-House” tour is available throughout the year.
Grounds and gardens are open year-round from dawn to dusk for hiking, snowshoeing, or cross-country skiing, FREE OF CHARGE, though donations are welcome.

**Please note: if your GPS directs you to take Carrington-Batelle Road, please take an alternate route as this seasonal road is really only passable with trucks and cars with 4-wheel drive. Click “Get Directions” below for the easiest route.**
We welcome group visits to the Bidwell House. If you represent a tour group, school or scout group and would like to arrange a special tour of the property and house, please contact us at (413) 528-6888.
