Volunteer
There are many ways to help the Museum for as many or as few hours as you choose. Volunteers help us to continue offering all that we do!
Make a Donation
This is the simplest way to help. We depend on donations to keep the Museum open, and every bit counts. Donations can be made for a specific cause, or to the area of greatest need.
Come to an Event
We offer a variety of events throughout the year, including a History Talk series both live and virtual, guided walks on the Bidwell property, musical and theatrical performances, reenactments, and more.
In celebration of our 25th anniversary in 2015, friend of BHM Joyce Scheffey talks about her history of support of the Museum. Her support enabled us to finalize a conservation easement on 180 acres of the property in 2022, which you can read about HERE.
