Pacience Brewster
November 10, 2019 @ 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm
Free
Great Barrington resident Sue Farnum, a descendant of Elder Brewster, the religious leader of the pilgrims portrays his daughter, Pacience and shares the story of their journeys and struggles settling in the New World.
By telling how they found Plimoth, got through the first winter and were befriended by the Wampanoags, Sue hopes to add to what people have learned over the years and give them a clearer picture of the founding fathers.
The Bidwell House Museum is very excited to partner with the Monterey Community Center for this presentation. Sue’s program has been presented in churches, Historical Societies, DAR chapters and schools around New England and lasts about 45 minutes, with a question and answer session at the end.
Tickets are free. Pre-registration is not required but would be appreciated.
