Henry Knox and the Knox Trail – Which Way Did He Go?

In his talk “Which Way Did He Go,” historian Gary Leveille will discuss Henry Knox, his teamsters, and the alternate routes they may have used through Columbia County, NY and the Southern Berkshires as they made their way to Boston.

Gary Leveille is a long-time Berkshires historian, columnist, and author of a number of books on local history. He writes the “Then and Now” column for the Berkshire Edge, which compares historic photos with current photos and he is one of the authors of the upcoming book abou the Knox Trail titled “Ye Trodden Path”

This program will be held at the Monterey Library and also avaialble to watch on Zoom. A Zoom link will be sent to online participants on Wednesday, February 4.
