From Bedrock to Birds: How Geology and Hydrology Shape Ecosystems

September 14, 2019 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

On this guided walk led by Mass Audubon Educational Coordinator Dale Abrams, you will learn to “read” the landscape on a deeper level by making connections between geological features, including bedrock and landform, and habitat characteristics for plants and wildlife along the trails at the Bidwell property. What you learn on this walk will allow you to gain perspectives that will help you interpret the natural history of the Berkshires or any other region.

Meet in front of the Museum at 10 am, dress for a walk in the woods and bring water.  This walk will happen rain or shine.
