Privately
operated as a non-profit museum and financed by memberships, admissions,
contributions and bequests, the Bidwell House is dedicated to the
preservation of its rich history and that of life in early New England.
Membership
contributions help to fund the educational
programs and special events
offered spring, summer and fall.
Our staff has been active, and
increasingly more successful, obtaining outside financial support and
grants to fund our expanding programs. However, as we all know, it is the core membership dedicated to
the goals of the museum that provide our ongoing strength and direction. Your support and faith in The Bidwell House makes the museum
live.
While
there are significant benefits to membership, including reduced
admission charges to various events, the real benefit is to feel
yourself an important part of this very special place.
