Trail Walk. A 2-3 hour nature walk through the historic
Bidwell forests. |

Columbus Day closing event and celebration
of Massachusetts
Archeology Month. Local historian, George Emmons,
will lead a walk to the site of the historic Meeting House,
where Rev. Adonijah Bidwell preached, and to the famous
Indian cairns. Refreshments will follow. |

Two historic trails Stop in and get a map during museum hours.
Meeting House Trail 20 minutes; the site of the First Congregational Church
Royal Helmlock Trail two hours. Tradition tells us Henry Knox and troops
followed a part of this trail with cannon on the way to Boston in 1776.
